Tournament Terms & Conditions

Introduction

By participating in the tournament, you are agreeing to these tournament terms and conditions. The tournament is being run by GETCOM Limited.

Eligibility to Enter

The tournament is open to entrants over 16 years of age. By entering the tournament, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that you are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you. There is no limit to the number times you can enter and the tournament, and entry is subject to a fee, the amount of which is highlighted in the Reflex Trading game app tournament feature.

The Prize

The winning prize will be Amazon vouchers (or a voucher of your choice, subject to availability) valued between £10 to £100. The use of specific brands as prizes by GETCOM Limited does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided. We reserve the right to substitute your voucher of choice with Amazon vouchers of equal value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so, such as the your voucher of choice is unobtainable. GETCOM Limited’s decision on any aspect of the tournament is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

Winner Announcement

Delivery of the Prize

The winner will be the entry with the highest score and they will be notified and sent their electronic voucher via the winner’s email address provided in the Reflex Trading game app. GETCOM Limited reserves the right to refuse the highest scoring entry the prize if it has reasonable belief that the highest score has been achieved dishonestly or unfairly or by tampering with the Reflex Trading app. GETCOM Limited will make two attempts to contact the winner via email. If the winner has not provided the correct email, they forfeit their right to the prize, and GETCOM Limited reserves the right to select the second highest score as the new winner.

The winner will allow 14 days for the prize to be emailed, otherwise alternative collection or delivery arrangements can be made through mutual agreement.

Data Protection and Publicity

You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the tournament will be used by GETCOM Limited for the purposes of administering the tournament and for the other purposes as specified in our Privacy Policy. All entrants may request information on the winning participant by emailing feedback@getcom.org and only if the winner has consented to their username being disclosed. If consent is given by the winner, GETCOM Limited will disclose the username of the winner on the Reflex Trading app tournament banner.

Limitation of Liability

GETCOM Limited accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by any entrants as a result of participating in the tournament or being selected for a prize.

General

GETCOM Limited reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the tournament or amend these terms and conditions.

The type of personal information we collect
We currently collect and process the following information:
• Personal email addresses
• Profile name (your personal name or game pseudonym)
• Profile image (a photo of your likeness or other image)
• Personal answers to financial markets related questions

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:
• To help us create and personalise your game profile;
• To help us send you your vouchers; and
• To help us with game revenue generation.

We use the information that you have given us in order to create your personal game profile, and your photo or image to personalise your profile. Your email address enables us to send your vouchers to your personal email address.

You have the option to participate in questionnaires we send out to you. Your responses will be anonymised and aggregated with other responses to the same questionnaire before they are shared with third parties. We will only share the anonymised information with organisations that can help with game revenue generation.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful basis we rely on for processing this information is legitimate interest.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored in servers based in the United Kingdom. We keep your email address, profile name and profile image while you have a game profile. As soon as your profile is withdrawn due to in-game profile termination, we will immediately delete the data associated with the terminated profile. If your profile is inactive, but has yet to be terminated, we will hold your profile and associated data for six months before the profile is terminated due to inactivity. At which time, we will immediately delete the data associated with the terminated profile.
Anonymised data from questionnaires will be kept for a year from the point of collection, at which time it will be deleted. The exception to this is when there is reason to believe that opportunities exist to sell the anonymised data beyond the one-year period. In this case, the data will be held for no more than a year from the point the data is shared.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:
Your right of access – You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
Your right to rectification – You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
Your right to erasure – You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to restriction of processing – You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to object to processing – You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
Your right to data portability – You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
